Astro Boy is a Japanese-inspired izakaya in Ghent, known for its shareable bites, cocktails, and natural wines. Embracing the anime and manga concept inherent in its name, we partnered with illustrator Nina Vandeweghe to craft a unique brand identity.

Nina’s surreal yet playful black and white illustrations contrast vividly with the identity's bright colors, reflecting the lively atmosphere and interior of the restaurant. The result is a cohesive and fun identity that captures the essence of Astro Boy—a blend of Japanese tradition with a modern, cool twist.
